Why our Program is so Great

Experience & Passion: For more than 25 years, our program has dedicated itself to providing an exceptional experience to our students’ educational journeys.

Enriched Program: Regular physical education time with many special activities and events: field trips, skating, swimming, music lessons, duck egg hatching and so many more learning adventures!

Support for Every Learner: Low student to teacher radio plus a full time teacher’s aide means lots of individual time.

Academic: Strong literacy, science and math focus that guides your child towards independent inquiry and discovery.

Environment: Bright, sunny classroom with many upgrades, a huge indoor gym space, and a new playground. (We play outisde every day we can!)

Comprehensive: Additional five-days-a-week Junior Kindergarten program for students that are aged four by September 1.

Childcare Options: On-site Out of School Care through the Dalhousie Community Association.

Parents: Parents are welcome in the classroom and encouraged to volunteer as much as they desire. Parent council gives you a real voice plus you meet other parents and develop lasting friendships!

Public: The kindergarten program is funded directly by Alberta Education.
